How To Open An Online Demat Account With Dhanush?

To open a new Demat account visit MyDhanush App on iOS/Android or visit MyDhanush Web and follow the steps below.

Step 1: Registration of Mobile Number and Email ID

Enter your registered mobile number and click on open an account. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number and click on ‘Confirm’

Register using your Google ID or enter your email address and click on ‘Continue’. Enter the OTP received on your email address and click on ‘Confirm’

Step 2: Verify your Aadhar and PAN details

• Enter your PAN number and father’s name and click on continue
• Click OK to confirm your PAN name.
• Click on Continue with Digilocker
• Enter your Aadhar number and click continue. Enter the OTP received on the mobile number and click confirm

Note: In case of Digilocker verification fails, upload your PAN image manually and click continue

Step 3: Bank Details & Digital Verification

Select your bank name and enter your bank details. Upload your canceled check image (if required) and click on continue
Click on the “click selfie” button to upload your selfie (Note: You can also use your phone’s camera if you want to complete this process by selecting “click here” and scanning the QR code)
Upload your signature by uploading a signature photo or signing digitally and click on continue

Step 4: Segment activation & nominee addition

You can activate derivatives by manually uploading income-proof details. You can skip it by clicking “Do it later”
Add nominees by clicking on ‘Add Nominee’ or you can skip it by clicking “Do it later”

Step 5: E-sign

Sign using Aadhar by clicking ‘e-Sign part 1’

It may take 24-48 hours to complete verification.
