Juniper Hotels IPO: Issue Booked 2.07 Times; QIB Portion Subscribed 2.96 Times on Final Day

Juniper Hotels opened its initial public offer (IPO) for subscription on February 21, 2024. The issue will remain open until February 23, 2024. The company has set the IPO price band between Rs 342 and Rs 360 per equity share with a face value of Rs 10. The lot size for the IPO is 40 equity shares, with subsequent multiples of 40 equity shares. The IPO, valued at Rs 1,800 crore, is a completely fresh issue, with no offer-for-sale component involved.

Juniper Hotels, a leading luxury hotel development and ownership company, operates in the hospitality industry. Its portfolio includes seven hotels, featuring 1836 keys (which includes 245 serviced apartments), situated in strategic locations across India. Hyatt, a global hotel operator, brands and manages all the properties in Juniper Hotels’ portfolio.

IPO Subscription Status

At 5:06 PM, investors booked the issue 2.07 times, equivalent to 5,99,20,280 shares, compared to the initial offering of 2,89,47,367 shares. The retail portion subscribed 1.24 times, reaching 52,63,157 shares, while Non-Institutional Investors (NII) subscribed at 85 percent, totaling 78,94,736 shares. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) portion was oversubscribed at 2.96 times, representing 4,67,11,200 shares, in contrast to the initial 1,57,89,474 shares.

Price Band

The company has set the IPO price band between Rs 342 and Rs 360 per equity share.
