DOMS Industries Limited opened for subscription on December 13, 2023. The issue closes today, December 15, 2023. 

The company has fixed DOMS IPO price at Rs 750 to Rs 790 per equity share.

DOMS Industries IPO comprises a fresh issue of shares of up to Rs 350 crore. It has an offer for sale (OFS) of equity shares by a promoter and others aggregating up to Rs 850 crore.

The stationery company aims to raise Rs 1,200 crore from its public offer. A bidder will be able to apply in lots. One lot of the public offer comprises 18 shares of the company.

After T+3 listing becoming mandatory from December 1, 2023, the book build issue may finalise share allocation on December 18, 2023.

The appointing authority has designated Link Intime India Private Ltd as the official registrar for the upcoming IPO.

Issue Subscription on Day 3 

At 16:50 hours, DOMS Industries IPO subscribed 93.38 times or 82.52 crore shares against an allocated number of 88.37 lakh shares.

The retail portion was booked 68.98 times the allocated portion of 15.93 lakh shares, reaching 10.99 crore shares.

In the Non Institutional Investors (NIIS) space, investors bid for 66.46 times  of the total 23.89 lakh shares. Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) have bid for 115.97 times of the number of shares allocated to them.

Objective of the Issue

The utilization of part of the net proceeds from the new issue includes covering general corporate expenses and financing the construction of a new manufacturing facility. It plans to increase production capacity for a variety of writing instruments, watercolour pens, markers and highlighters.

DOMS Industries IPO has reserved not less than 75 percent of the shares in the public issue for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB). The allocation limits set a maximum of 15 percent for Non-Institutional Investors (NII). It has fixed a maximum reservation of 10 percent for Retail Investors in the offer.

Employees eligible for the reservation portion have the opportunity to access a discount of Rs 75 per equity share when they participate.

Earlier, DOMS raised Rs 537.7 crore through anchor investors, a day ahead of its IPO opening for bidding. Big institutions that participated include SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund and Goldman Sachs.
